Our Technology Challenge

Our Brief:  To design and create a parachute to safely drop a raw egg from a height without the egg cracking.

What materials we were allowed to use:

* 3 A4 pieces of paper

*  A piece of A5 card

*  1 Plastic bag

*  1 metre of string

*  tape and scissors

Planning Stage:

We chose our own groups and then began to draw our ideas on paper.  We had to listen to each others ideas and then agree on which ones we would use.  Some groups decided who would make each part of the design. Here are a couple of our photos at the planning stage.
