Incy Wincy Spider

In the last few weeks of the term the children got creative and designed a wind up mechanism to help Incy Wincy Spider climb up the water spout.  They used old shoeboxes and cardboard tubes to create the setting for Incy Wincy.  They used a split pin and a piece of circular card to design the rotational sun and  rain. They then came up with a way to create a wind up mechanism using skewers, corks and fishing gut and finally they put it all together with a spider made out of a piece of egg carton and pipe cleaners.  Here is what the children made
