Saving a silvereye bird

On Tuesday after school me, Isaac and Kiijahna were playing a game then Kiijahna found a silver-eye bird lying on the ground. Isaac picked up the bird and it just gripped onto Isaac’s finger like it was in shock. Is it injured? Is it going to die?  

I thought I should take it home to look after it. So I took it home and put it in a box with tissues and some food.

After two hours we checked on the silver-eye and it was out of the BOX! I found it by my wooden desk. Suddenly it flew onto my desk. The injury had gone, yay! 

It started flying around my room like mad! After all that flying, Annabel, my babysitter picked up the bird and put it by my window then it flew away.

Now that was something I’ll never forget!
